TEAM NEWS

With Luton Town the destination on Saturday afternoon, who is likely to play a part given the injury and suspension news?
Prav Mathema, the club physio has certainly had a busy week in the Treatment Room in his bid to give John Gregory as fit a squad as possible; however, some may not make the short trip to Kenilworth Road.
The long term absentees of Adam Czerkas and Paul Furlong are both still progressing, but neither will be returning to action any time soon.
Czerkas, who hasn't figured since the Carling Cup tie with Port Vale, is now running but it will still be a while before he regains his match fitness.
Paul Furlong is a similar story with the front man still taking part in his 'pre-season' after suffering a thigh strain and several 'niggles' thereafter.
Ray Jones and Matthew Hislop, suffering from hip and hamstring problems respectively, are both also on the comeback trail and are still working on their fitness levels.
Pat Kanyuka is showing encouraging signs after injuring his hamstring and is back running and pain free already.
Goalkeeper Jake Cole will be having further x-rays on his fractured thumb next week and if all is well, will be taking part in some light goalkeeing sessions.
Martin Rowlands and Marc Bircham are both back training and are making progress after both missing the Crystal Palace game.
One man who will definitely not figure is Steve Lomas, who accumulated his fifth booking last Saturday and will now miss tomorrow's fixture.
